Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB Extension

We are delighted that the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) announced, on 7 July 2020, a 38 sq km expansion to the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

AFA worked closely with Natural England in assessing the landscape for designation and provided training to Natural England staff throughout the process.
